As the saying (aka Nelly Furtado lyrics) goes: “all good things come to an end.” Well these words are applicable to my most recent venture to Punta Cana, with one assuming that it’s in regards to leaving the beautiful beaches and warm weather to return back home to bone freezing prairie weather. While the above is true, I’m sad to say my journey with my trusty and well travelled Canon 5D Mark II has come to an abrupt end. Unfortunately it went for a little swim and I can now confidently say a weather sealed camera does not equal wave proof haha. However, seeing as it was Christmas I took on the “treat yourself” attitude and have already found a more than worthy replacement. So here’s to starting a new photographic journey with my new 5D Mark III! Below is one of the last pictures I took before my Mark II met its end…
