In the winter it can be a rare occurrence to have a clean car with all the dirt and grime on the streets. So when Michael said he was down for a quick shoot, I jumped at the opportunity! While I’ve seen the BRZ and FRS on the streets, this was my first time really having a chance to take a close look at the BRZ. Right off the line this car looks amazing, with its aggressive lines and an ultra killer rear end. Michael hasn’t had much of an opportunity to mod the car much but his addition of buddy club tail lights really help to set off the rear end of the BRZ. He also mentioned the possibility of JDL headers in the near future, so can’t wait hear this thing ripping around the city. Unfortunately, during the shoot when we were inspecting the car, the effects of winter became obvious when Michael was pointing out a few new paint chips and flaws. But this just showed how meticulous Michael is with his BRZ. This was one of two shoots that I was fortunate enough to squeeze in, so more to come! Additionally, this was my first opportunity to really flex, in my opinion, the holy grail of Canon lens….the 135mm L. I’ve been blown away by the performance and image quality thus far, but I’ll be sure to do a review in the future.2013 BRZ – Satin White Pearl
