Up until this point, I have been shooting entirely Nikon and have had no complaints. However, after spotting a used Canon 5D Mark II for sale at a fantastic price, I jumped at the opportunity to try one of Canon’s most renowned bodies. While Canon and Nikon may be archenemies, I will definitely continue to shoot my Nikon as it has been an absolute workhorse thus far. From the short time I have been using the 5D Mark II I’ve been impressed with its performance, having excellent colour rendition and producing razor sharp images. Currently, the biggest change to become accustomed to is the 5D Mark II’s autofocus system: being much slower and having only 9 AF points. However, overall I am extremely happy with my “new to me” Canon and am excited to put it to work alongside my Nikon.
